We’re talking quality over quantity here. No drive-thru, no rush, just pure, love for the bean. Where is this nirvana I hear you ask? Tucked away in the underground parking of an apartment complex – corner of Campbell and 16th Street. An unassuming oasis, shielded from the relentless Arizona sun. Handy parking up front means no long treks under the scorching rays. Seriously, it was 90 degrees at 7am this morning!

This place is a little haven for the locals. I swear I saw a parade of pajama-clad, slipper-shuffling apartment dwellers sauntering in for their morning caffeine fix. Plenty of comfy spots to plonk yourself down, crank out some work, or like me, pen a swift cortado review.

And there’s a cherry on top! The roaster – right there in the room. You gotta love that – the full circle of coffee creation, from bean to cup, all happening right in front of your eyes. Equipment-wise, they’ve gone top shelf – no skimping on quality here.

But the highlight? Baristas who care. You can spot a true coffee lover from a mile away and these folks fit the bill. In the midst of a morning rush, the barista strolled over to my table and handed me my cortado personally. Talk about feeling special! Sure, everyone else picked up their orders at the counter, but my cortado? It was like a golden goblet, delivered personally to my table. No, they had no clue about this review. Just a genuine, heartfelt delivery from a person who loved their craft.

Let’s cut to the chase – the cortado. Served up in a perfectly proportioned clay cup (loved that unique touch!), it was downright delicious. Smooth, at the perfect temperature, it was a cortado done right. Kudos to the barista, who hit it out of the park.
